2x inconclusive poly after background investigation - CIA

Hello All,

I've heard, from some people who are/at one point were in the IC, that they sometimes they use polys as a convenient way to cut people after they send out too many conditional offers. Even if your record is clean or there wasn't anything that was particularly horrible in your past etc.

Which isn't necessarily efficient/nice/considerate but it is what it is. They don't have to provide a justification for cutting you at that point in the process. Just that your results were "inconclusive" so they can't offer you a clearance. Maybe someone else can weigh in, though, as that's just what I've heard.
